As SEO Manager, your responsibility will be to build and lead SEO for the Edirect platform, and to set and scale best practices across Asia. Your goal will be to improve organic rankings of Edirect’s consumer-facing websites in order to increase volume and quality of organic traffic, to plan out the roadmap for the future, and to constantly innovate. You will join a team that come from a multitude of backgrounds and experiences which makes working at Edirect a diverse, fast paced and innovative place to work.
TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS WITH US YOU WILL
Take ownership of SEO for the Edirect tech platform, ensuring that the platform is optimized in current markets (Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan), and that new country and vertical launches are search optimized
Implement best practices for existing staff in Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Set targets and manage performance through quantitative and qualitative KPIs and dashboards
Develop and share best practices, leveraging on processes in the Group and innovating on them
Build new marketing capabilities to be ahead of market trends Full ownership of on- and off-site SEO (e.g., blog, link building)
Work closely with Product and Technology teams to build and scale a cutting edge, optimised insurance platform, ensuring all new website launches are managed to the highest standard
Experienced (2-4 years) in SEO, with good technical background
Experienced in large scale e-commerce or other transaction-based websites High sense of urgency and ability to define and meet tight deadlines
Proactive, strong on analytics, very structured, with a granular approach to metrics and reporting
Able to build and manage an international team
Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach, and enjoy working in flexible environments
Expert knowledge of technical marketing toolkit (e.g. Google Analytics Qualified, Inbound Marketing Certified, Google Webmaster Tools, Majestic SEO, Ahrefs), with a drive to expand and improve the toolkit Proficient in HTML, CSS and Wordpress
Full spoken and written fluency in English, fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese preferred
