However, we didn't want to just copy what was already out there. Instead, we took inspiration from Pokemon, and decided to build a social game based around collecting and battling unique characters.
In less than two months, we built the iPhone app, Facebook app, and standalone web version of the game. Apple featured the game and we made it into the top 10 apps in the US and many other countries.
