WHAT WE DO
At Ding we want to create the most beautiful smart home ever. We are a design-led startup, building products that enhance people’s lives and blend into their homes. These objects employ enough technology to be useful, yet still remain simple for the user.
Our first product is the Ding Smart Doorbell that launches this year. To connect our devices we’ve created a P2P voice platform for embedded devices. It consists of device firmware, Android and iOS mobile apps, and our backend platform to connect the two.
We also have exciting plans for where we’ll take the platform in 2018, including integration to other smart home platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit and IFTTT.

We’re looking for a long-term member of the team, who’s excited to be involved in an early-stage startup.
Your main roles will be:
• Build, deploy and maintain our backend platform
• Provide first-line support, responding to our alert system
You should have at least 2 years of experience in industry. No agencies please.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER
The opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment, solving interesting problems as part of a dynamic team in the growing industry of smart homes.

leading architect for iPlayer.
