The Challenge

The Product Management Associate is the swiss army knife of the product team with a background and appreciation for technology, data, product development, and partnerships. The ideal Product Management Associate is excited to learn about product strategy, vendor partnerships, and operations in a growing Fintech startup. The Product Analyst will impact day to day operations of a fast moving fintech startup while also gaining appreciable skills and knowledge.

Location: New York, NY

Product Management Associate responsibilities:

Quality Assurance/Technical Basics Development - 30%

Create data dictionary integration templates to onboard new data vendors onto the platform, work with developers/API documentation to perform API integration, and update vendor content for data products
Test and analyze the primary product for issues and potential improvements

Product/Data Vendor Management - 30%
Respond to internal and external customer feedback and provide solutions
Propose product features in response to product feedback and issues
Analyze and contribute to data vendor strategy and market positioning

Content/Strategy Support - 40%
Assisting with deck creation, demos, datalists, defining case studies, matching data products to use cases, and diagrams/roadmaps
Create content educating users on data vendors, data products, use cases, and potential cross product correlations and groupings
Document processes, update supporting materials, and help manage coordination and communication across the organization
Develop understanding of client use cases/problems using consulting methodology: discovery, research/analyze, solutions, implementation process

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.0
0-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, product management, business intelligence, or similar work
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Bonus Points:

Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Supply Chain Operations, Financial Engineering, Computation Statistics, Mathematics
Degree from a top university
One or more of the following:
Graphic design experience
Programming skills and experiences
Business Intelligence or Analytics experience (SQL, R, Tableau, etc)
Marketing experience
Lead generation or customer service experience
Debate or public speaking experience
Experience working at a venture funded start-up
