Dan rocks! He interviewed me to dev at Clarity.fm. I didn't have enough experience for him but he did invite me to a great entrepreneur's dinner party where I met a bunch of other smart hustler/hacker types. I would def try to work for Dan if I had the opportunity. I made my boss start using Clarity.fm last week as well.
Founder of a company Dan Martell took an intro to
Dan was a great investor, and helpful advisor. In particular he gave key guidance on customer development and metric tracking. He made himself available on short notice to help our team.
From showing us a process to follow when raising before he even invested to investing to continuing to give great advice throughout the life of Manpacks Dan's been an invaluable resource, sounding board and friend
Dan was the first to invest in Foodspotting, and we could never have gotten Foodspotting off the ground without his coaching and advice in our earliest days. He helped us craft our fundraising deck, introduced us to investors and provided metrics guidance and other advice. He was there for us throughout Foodspotting's journey but wasn't afraid to speak up when he had advice or guidance. Thankful to have had Dan on our team; we wouldn't have gotten far without him!
Dan makes things happen. He is always willing to help & his advice is spot on. Also, the only angel I've ever met who wires first & asks for docs second. Why does he do it? To make your life easier as a founder. - @fjharris
Dan is an excellent angel investor. I've worked with him via 2 separate companies. He's well-connected and well-liked. Doesn't get in your hair unless you ask for his advice, in which case he's always happy to help.
