Started Dropbox's first distributed engineering office with one other engineer and grew it from there. Heavily contributed to creating initial processes for distributed engineering...more work, contributed to all parts of the hiring funnel, and assembled a stellar team of front-end and back-end engineers.Originally started as server team engineer working on custom, scalable metadata store and writing foundational libraries for Dropbox's production Go code. Later managed API team.

* Co-created and led Dropbox NY, Dropbox's first remote engineering office. Hired first engineers by sourcing, hiring the first recruiter, email reach outs, and creating the remote hiring process.
