I'm an an entrepreneur and angel investor on a mission to support rising startup ecosystems globally. I was born in Zaria, Nigeria and growing up in Nairobi, and invest in startups around the world that are solving real problems for real people and attacking large frontier technology markets.
Passionate founder(s) with deep expertise, an unfair advantage, or unusual exposure to the problem they are solving. I am very interested in frontier markets and technologies that are poised to grow fast.
Chris probably has a better sense of the early-stage startup community in the Southeastern US than anyone else out there. Beyond that, his network and understanding of the more traditional hubs of entrepreneurship give companies he invests and advises incredible value.
I can say with the highest level of confidence that if you have a consumer startup, you want Chris involved.
If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right now?
I'd be traveling the world to frontier markets working with amazing entrepreneurs solving real problems for real people. Which is not too far off from what I'm fortunate to be able to be doing with my wife Anne Driscoll.
