to our strategy.\n\nWe are building our sales team to quickly scale our customer
base and identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts. Our customers
are diverse and range from two-person startups to the Fortune 500, but they all
rely on Crunchbase for business-critical information delivered at the right time.

sales funnel and book of business, yet shape the direction and success of the sales
team.\n\nSales at Crunchbase\nThe Crunchbase Sales team is responsible for spreading
adoption of our API and SaaS products: Crunchbase Enterprise, Crunchbase for Applications
and Crunchbase Pro… and driving revenue growth, of course! \nAs a Crunchbase Sales
Development Representative, you will:\n• Source and identify new leads and craft
successful email and phone campaigns \n• Prospect into new accounts and grow the
customer base from amongst our target account profiles\n• Qualify inbound leads
to identify new sales opportunities within an established funnel of potential customers\n•
\ Create hypotheses and design experiments to test and improve key metrics\n• Work
in partnership with Account Executives to facilitate a smooth hand-off from early
qualification to close\n• Work in tandem with Customer Success to identify upsell/cross-sell
opportunities within existing accounts\n• Work closely with engineering and product
to relay customer pain points and experiences\n• Represent the company and team
through writing blogs/articles, attending key events, and managing other publicly-facing
activities\n• With the Head of Sales & Business Development, develop, track, and
respond to the KPIs that drive success across the organization\n\nYou:\n• Are a
versatile sales tactician capable of selling to customers of varying size and verticals\n•
\ Have spent time selling in early-stage startups and thrive in environments with
a wide scope and set of responsibilities, especially in the early stages\n• Naturally
possess a high level of empathy and play close attention to the needs of customers\n•
\ Have a high standard for excellence and feel a great sense of satisfaction when
customers are successful\n• Are a clear and confident communicator -- comfortable
both writing and speaking to executives at startups to the Fortune 500 and coordinating
cross-functionally with internal teams and leadership\n• Are extremely coachable
and constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft\n• Are technically
capable and can converse effectively with technical customers\n\nQualifications:\n•
\ Approximately 1-2 years experience selling SaaS products in an SDR role\n• Past
experience working with internal executives and cross-functionally with other teams\n•
\ Highly organized and detail-oriented\n• Working knowledge of Salesforce required\n•
\ Experience with sales automation e.g. SalesLoft, LinkedIn a plus \n\nWhat Crunchbase
