Senior Account Executive

Zype is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team! We are looking for high-energy sales professionals with experience in SaaS and cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on experience in online video platforms or related technology industries that focus on media and entertainment solutions.

The Account Executive will work inside the Zype Growth team and be responsible for selling cloud video distribution software to video content owners. This role reports to the Head of Sales based in New York City.


Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Present product walkthroughs with prospects to communicate the value propositions of Zype’s offerings
+ Effectively rally internal team members to drive successful outcomes by assisting with complex opportunities
+ Own a sales pipeline to manage leads, outbound prospecting, and reporting of sales metrics on a weekly basis
+ Meet or exceed sales goals each quarter
+ Work with marketing to identify Zype sales opportunities, manage inside sales leads and funnel as well as effectively continue to grow Zype’s sales funnel
+ Successfully handoff customers to Zype Account Management team

Application Requirements:

+ 3-6 years sales experience as an Account Executive preferably for a SaaS product
+ Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders
+ Demonstrated ability to discover, build and develop leads all the way to deal close
+ Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ 4 Year Degree required
