Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage marketing activities to achieve company objectives around transactions and market share
Identify, formulate and execute the marketing strategy
Plan and create annual ROI based budget and deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget and develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department that detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives
Source, negotiate with and manage all vendor relationships
Structure, create, negotiate and execute on various marketing partnerships including barters, offers etc
Work cross-functionally to execute business objectives and enhance member acquisition efforts
Track and measure ROI and analyze impact of marketing efforts. Monitor and measure results from promotional campaigns. Report on conversions and track results by program
Conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products and services
Tailor marketing efforts based on project and geography requirements as well as analysis, research, requirements and target groups
Develop and manage promotional campaigns
Manage relationships with third party creative agencies to develop necessary materials
Analyze and optimize creative efforts
Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge
Manage the entire life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities and manage all aspects of the marketing efforts including printing, execution, distribution, logistics and tracking
Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media
Conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products and services
Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for product lines

Strategic Alliances

Identify strategic partners
Formulate and analyze various structures and create business case for approval
Negotiate and finalize all strategic deals
Track effectiveness and tweak programs as required

Advertising and Media Coordination

Develop, implement and manage the advertising strategy both from a business and technical perspective
Initiate and manage discussions with partners and sponsors
Identify the right advertising channels
Coordinate and manage negotiations and purchasing of different media/channels
Develop media kits and sales materials
Manage special ad-hoc project requests
Develop relationships with media partners and negotiate pricing and contract terms
Select and target the right properties for marketing efforts
Develop the overall strategy and implementation to maximize efforts in regards to Search Engine Optimization

Qualifications/Requirements:

5+ years in similar marketing roles in media, entertainment, ecommerce or FMCG
MBA degree from a reputed institution
Proven experience with execution on all aspects of marketing including traditional and non-traditional, alliances etc.
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
Ability to identify key needs or gaps, and provide leadership to close those gaps
Adept at handling multiple tasks, able to switch priorities and focus as needed.
