About Us :

ZoomRx is a young, energetic market research and data analytics consultancy working in the life-sciences industry. We have offices in Boston, New York City, San Francisco and Chennai. We are a two hundred member team and growing rapidly.

Role :

As a member of our nascent People & Organizational Development team, this would be an extraordinary opportunity for you to define culture and lean policies for a high-performance team. You will work closely with the SVP of Operations in devising strategies that push our organization toward its goals.

Primary Responsibilities :

Enable ZoomRx scale for growth by creating and implementing lean policies and processes in -

1. Performance Management :

- Act as the product owner of the in-house performance management portal and manage its development, evolution, and implementation.

- Conduct regular training sessions, and create learning tools for managers and employees to improve objectivity of the performance management process.

2. Compensation & Benefits :

- Conduct regular compensation bench-marking exercises for both India and US Offices, and advise the management team on overall compensation strategy.

- Manage the bi-annual appraisal processes, create processes to support decision making regarding performance bonuses and pay hikes.

3. Employee Engagement :

- Identify and implement initiatives to manage and reward ZoomRx's culture of Quality, Velocity, Experimentation, Respect and Collaboration.

- Manage employee engagement surveys, and utilize data driven techniques to inform management team regarding engagement levels across the organisation.

- Conceptualize and implement appropriate interventions to ensure optimal engagement levels.

4. Policies & Compliance :

- Create, and implement policies that are aligned with overall organisational philosophy for both India and US offices.

- Identify compliance requirements and set up procedures for both India and US offices

- Ensure all people team activities are data-driven and define metrics to continuously track and improve operations

Knowledge/Skills Needed :

- Good understanding of applied organizational psychology and behavior theory

- Enthusiasm and initiative to prioritize, kickoff and own tasks end to end as an individual contributor

- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced work environment with changing priorities

- Excellent communication skills to present ideas succinctly and build consensus across teams

- Analytically strong, data-driven and outcome oriented

Job Requirements :

Education: MBA-HR (or) Masters in HR (or) Masters in Organizational Psychology.

Experience: 2 to 3 years in an organizational development role.
