Electrical engineer responsible for system level design, debug, documentation, customer inquiries and application of a disruptive technology.
Responsibilities:
-Architect, design, and debug wearable and industrial IoT systems.
-Schematic entry and detailed design using CAD tools.
-PCB Design for multi-layer, mixed signal, low power systems.
-Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and design documents.
-Generate bill of materials (BOMs) and specifications.
-Maintain schematic symbols and PCB footprints libraries.
-Bring up and verify systems.
-Write data sheets and application notes for system applications.
-Research existing product and system solutions.
-Support the application of a disruptive technology in new products.
-Debug firmware issues.
Qualifications:
-BS/MS EE with 2 to 5 years of experience in wearable, industrial or low power consumer product system design.
-Experienced with wearable platforms, ARM-based microcontrollers.
-Proficient with embedded system design CAD tools such as Cadence Allegro is highly desirable.
-Experienced in component selection, reference system design, and firmware development.
-Be able to interface with contract manufacturing and problem-solving background.
-Experience with board bring-up, debug, and rework.
-Comfortable using LAB equipment.
-Able to adapt to changing customer requirements.
-Knowledgeable in Thermal/Electrical/Mechanical and ultra low power design issues.
-Innovative and not afraid of making mistakes.
