As the Director of Marketing at Apollo, you will be a key member of the executive team, directly reporting into the CEO, responsible for our go-to-market positioning, messaging, enablement, product launches, and overall corporate and product communications.  

What You Will Do
* Help businesses to understand and realize the full impact Apollo can have on their results. Define, engage, and win our market.
* Drive company positioning, product messaging, sales enablement materials, thought leadership pieces, and overall product communications
* Define and communicate value propositions that differentiate Apollo, winning the hearts and minds of business owners, sales teams, and marketing leaders
* Manage our marketing website and SEO strategy that brings our innovation to life
* Partner with growth on demand generation programs, and messaging to help drive top of the funnel opportunities and build awareness for our brand
* Help us tell our customers' stories
* Drive the content strategy and execution to position Apollo as a thought leader
* Conduct research to build out customer personas, segmentation, and develop content tailored to customers throughout their lifecycle, to increase feature usage and grow customer organizations
* Build, coach, and lead a talented marketing team

What We Look For
* 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience with SaaS companies
* Proven experience driving high velocity, freemium to enterprise GTM motions
* Incredible drive and ambition to help Apollo become one of the most recognized brands for sales and marketing teams
* A passion for product with the ability to bring the Apollo product and all of its innovation to life for new prospects and users
* An eye for world-class creatives, a strong brand builder
* Domain knowledge of the sales and marketing SaaS space
* A content master – strong messaging / positioning skills, and solid writing skills for use in messaging documents, presentations, and blogs
* Detail and results oriented; skilled at both strategy and hands‐on execution; data driven and intuitive and empathetic to the needs of our customers
* Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to managing projects
* Strong people management, mentoring, coaching and development experience
