Introduction: Zaggle is a B2B Fintech Company that digitize spends through innovative payment solutions. We work with about 3500 corporates that have a strong supply chain network of more than 50,000 SMEs including distributors, wholesaler and retailers.
Zaggle is now building a financial ecosystem around its SME network by offering them a founder’s credit card, open banking platform and working capital credit. We are working on building a unique open-banking platform to increase the financial efficiency of SMEs.
This is an opportunity to work in one of the most sought fintech area and build a great platform addressing pain points of SMEs. You will work with the colleagues from some of the best B-schools including IIMs and other elite schools such as NYU Stern, Melbourne Business school, Chicago Booth.

Role: Head Engineering

Roles and Responsibilities:
 Responsible for mapping business objectives to an optimum engineering structure, including correct estimation of resource allocation.
 Design solution architecture & build system flow
 Lead end to end design and implementation of new products development, from conceptualization, development, testing and product roll out
 Oversee development of both front-end and back-end development & integration team
 Guide team on integration within and outside system
 Responsible to develop and manage scalable, resilient, secure and high-performance system
 Mentor and develop leaders within the team, along with this retain the top engineering talent.
 Translate business requirements into technology specifications and architecture blueprints
 Design strategic plans to provide effective product development.
 Manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities
 Prepare engineering budget and manage expenses

Qualifications and Experience:
 BE/BTech from a top tier college preferably IIT/NIT
 10-15 years of experience in financial services domain in development, engineering, architecture and leadership.
 Domain expertise on Open Banking and API Banking
 Proven leadership skills as demonstrated by a track record of leading product development projects
 Experience in setting up Micro-Service architecture and solution
 Good understanding of Agile, Devops methodologies
 Prior experience in setting up the engineering team and processes
 Have strong project management experience
 Strong understanding of enterprise applications, business processes and use of latest technology.
 Managerial skills in scaling the organization and processes that deliver & maintain complex systems.
 Up to date with the latest technologies and upgrading architectures. Pioneer in exploring new potential technology choices.
