Role Description:
As Product Manager, you will define features that will delight our users and drive our growth. You will do so by analyzing data, researching market trends, running experiments, and producing clear requirements for engineering teams.

Within your first 30 days, you will get familiar with our product development processes and tools. You’ll take over one to two projects toward the end of your first month.
- By month three, you will start taking ownership of projects for the Product team.
- By month six, you’ll be working with the design, growth marketing, and engineering teams to test and ship new features in production.
- By month nine, you will be responsible for coming up with new ideas, prioritizing the backlog for features and experiments, owning specs for new features, and working with designers and engineers to build and launch them.

This role requires an individual who has an entrepreneurial mindset, can execute in a scrappy environment, is highly collaborative, and can adjust quickly to shifts in prioritization and the broader business environment. Our ideal candidate is curious, thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about customer needs, the product experience, data driven decision-making, and market trends.

What you’ll do:
- Define product requirements for new features/enhancements
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to launch new features to create an experience that delights users
- Measure and move the core product KPIs that capture the value we’re creating for our customers
- Develop deep empathy for our customers through user research, interviews, and usability studies
- Understand the competitive environment and monitor best practices in education
- Collaborate with our growth and customer success team to drive adoption and usage of the features you ship
- Over-communicate your approach and consistently solicit feedback from your product peers, internal stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment throughout the company

Experience/Skills required:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2+ years of work experience as a software engineer, product manager, or equivalent technical experience
- Self-starter with a bias toward action and a proven track record of results
- Ability to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute methodically
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills
- Know how to delight customers and how to use data to know if you did
- Creative thinker with a vision
