Connecting people with great local businesses

Yelp connects people with great local businesses. Our users have contributed more than 170 million rich, local reviews of almost every type of local business, from restaurants, boutiques and salons to dentists, mechanics, plumbers and more. These reviews are written by people using Yelp to share their everyday local business experiences, giving voice to consumers and bringing “word of mouth” online. The information these reviews provide is valuable for consumers and businesses alike. Yelp’s Engineering and Product teams' work is driven by our values. We’re a cooperative team that prioritizes individual authenticity and encourages “unboring” solutions to problems. With the support of their mentors, managers, and teammates, new hires contribute to the product in their first week, and their impact only grows from there. At the end of the day, we’re all about advocating for our users, growing as people, and having fun in an inclusive, collaborative environment.
