Wink & Nod wants to build a customer-centric and trendy brand that can bring a breath of freshness to the sleep industry. Our goal is to acquire customers by selling them amazing products, leading with our innovative mattress, and then up-sell other bedroom products like pillows, bedsheets, sprays, candles, and comforters. We want to solve 3 key pain points - poor sleep products buying experience, lack of world-class innovative products and prohibitively high product prices that prevent people from buying good reasonably priced sleep products. Our company is run by seasoned professionals with backgrounds in investment banking, consulting and venture capital, and come from top tier educational institutes such as Chicago Booth, IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, Carnegie Mellon, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Chennai.

We are looking to hire an experienced professional to setup and manage our B2B sales and business development program. This will involve end to end ownership, starting from setting up a structured B2B sales and follow up process, lead generation, calls as well as frequent in person meetings. A big aspect will also be building relationship and contact management and regular reach outs to interested and semi-interested parties. We’re looking for someone to come on board and be comfortable and willing to work with a fixed + commission based structure. The position will start as an individual contributor role and will eventually pan out into a team role. The position will be based out of Pune, and might require occasional travel e.g. Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad etc. You will be reporting directly into the Chief Operating Officer.

Key responsibilities and general requirements:
We are looking to hire someone with 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
• Have proven experience in running B2B sales
• Possess and follow a structured process for sales - first calls, follow ups, in person meetings etc
• Willingness to travel and conduct frequent in person meetings with interested parties
• Experience in the soft furnishings/linen industry is a big positive
