Our Accountant is in charge of creating and analyzing financial reports and ensuring compliance of legal requirements. Major responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices, tax payments, and processing payroll. Our accountant will need to be knowledgeable in processing the company’s monthly book closings, analyzing the data and reports on the results, and assisting in accurately recording day-to-day financial transactions. The person in this position needs to be a proactive thinker with the innate ability to problem solve. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and a natural-born leader. Our candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision and training. This is a full-time opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Tax reporting (1099s, property taxes and excise taxes)
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner, including commission, territory, and sales rep structuring
Reconcile and complete monthly close process and reconcile intercompany balances
Prepare valance reports and research discrepancies
Budget analysis and provide feedback to managers
Prepare monthly sales and production reports
Special projects as needed
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in accounting, finance, business, or related field
At least 3 years of related experience/training within an accounting function/department, preferably in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
1 year of public accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, Google Apps, and Quickbooks
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong computer skills are a MUST
Ability to balance multiple demands, prioritize tasks, and retain clear focus
Strong time management skills
Valid Driver’s License
No history of alcohol abuse
21+ years of age at time of employment a plus
Must be able to obtain OLCC servers permit
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must have reliable transportation
Working Conditions

Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Must be able to work diligently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods of time
