Growth Data Analyst

We’re looking for a Growth Data Analyst that can set up the infrastructure for metrics and reporting across our startup portfolio, and for our growth team and support our team’s decision making process. In this role, you will be deeply involved in different demand generation programs as well as measuring the success of our portfolio of companies.

You will be responsible for understanding and tracking our / our portfolios acquisition channels, funnels, and customer lifecycle stages. A successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills and will have the desire to learn in a high energy/fast-paced environment.


- Building automated data processes to power real-time dashboards, and building self-service reporting tools to enable others to leverage the data.
- Creating analytical frameworks to enable efficient product experimentation, and working closely with engineers on instrumentation to ensure thorough capture of product data.
- Defining metrics for measuring product success, and creating the tools to effectively track and troubleshoot said metrics.
- Conducting exploratory data analyses to identify product gaps, evangelizing data insights to key stakeholders and defining our product roadmap.
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity metrics
- Provide data analysis for executive presentations, meetings and OKRs
- Lead experimentation optimization by providing guidance on the experiments that should be run, how they should be run (what sample size and sample populations should be included), what events and properties should be tracked, and how to analyze results to understand attribution, causation, and incremental lift.
- Partner with Product Managers to align our data capabilities with business needs, collaborate with software teams to optimize data (structure, accuracy and completeness), and marketing team to generate ideas for growth.


- Work experience as a data analyst or in related field
- Experience with CRMs and Marketing Automation software
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with BI tools like Looker, PowerBi or Tableau
- Experience in text and/or time-series analytics.
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
- High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
- High level understanding of APIs & integrations
- Understanding of JSON / XML parsing is a plus
