As the Business Development intern at WebEngage, you’ll be responsible for sparking new business and developing new relationships with other corporates in Singapore. You’ll identify prospective partners and help us close clients. You will be getting a great opportunity to learn and explore the nitty gritties of Business Development. Your Responsibilities :

Researching organisations to identify new leads and potential new markets
Prepare sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials.
Conduct face to face / online demos focusing on solution selling to prospective clients
Pro-actively drive customer engagement which includes proof of concepts, presentation, unique value proposition, business case justification and other customer communications
Drive adoption by being the POC in the integration and implementation phase
Work with Sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities
Working closely with the Sales team in closing deals / price negotiation.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events, wherever needed

Desired Skills and Experience:
The candidate should be ready to work for 4-6 months.
A high level of proactiveness and accountability is a must
Candidates with Marketing/Sales/Technology background preferred
Experience in Digital Marketing Products, Exposure to Analytics & CRM (example - Salesforce) will be an added advantage
This role demands a lot of travelling in & around Singapore based on the client’s geo-location.
Hands-on experience of using Web applications, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, iOS and Android platform will be an added advantage
Behavioral Attributes:
Highly developed written, conversational and presentation skills with good command over English with being multilingual an added advantage.
Passionate about Tech Startups applying it to Business Solutions
Enthusiastic and possessing a can-do attitude
Self-starter - able to work on his own initiative with minimal supervision
A positive disposition who is comfortable in a team environment
