Since launching on Kickstarter in 2017, our singular focus around fit has enabled Pepper to grow 400% YoY and rapidly amass a thriving community of adoring customers.

This is where you come in.

We’re looking for a Head of Sourcing and Operations to partner closely with the founders to define and lead a sustainable and global supply chain strategy that has exceptional quality, cost and delivery results. You will lead and manage departments across the entire supply chain, from sourcing to sourcing, fulfillment, logistics, and CX. The perfect candidate is exceptional at building vendor-client relationships, has superb analytical skills, and can successfully scale production for a fast growing startup. You will:

• Develop relationships with new sourcing and manufacturing partners globally to expand our production footprint
• Work with factories to maximize production capacity and minimize lead times
• Oversee the entire production process and ensure on-time delivery to our 3PL
• Manage 3PL to ensure a on-time delivery with great quality for a great customer experience
• Determine and optimize order allocation between manufacturing partners
• Negotiate new contracts and ensure optimal cost structures for products to maximize gross margins
• Oversee all operational partners, from factories, warehouse vendors, to customer service departments
• Ensure our products have exceptional quality with a minimal defect rate
• Drive collaboration between CX and logistics to ensure customers have an optimal experience
• Define the long-term vision for the overall supply chain (CX, Logistics, and Manufacturing) in alignment with overarching business goals

The perfect fit.

• MBA or Master’s program in related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in sourcing and/or supply chain at an online apparel retailer
• Leadership experience managing teams of cross-functional departments
• A strong understanding of what it takes to build a responsible and sustainable supply chain
• Very detail oriented and passionate about data-driven decision making
• Passionate about Pepper’s mission to redefine body standards
• Entrepreneurial with a balance of strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves
• Strong organizational, communication and project management skills
