Planned is a platform created to enable planners to scale by providing them with a vibrant marketplace of event spaces. We have layered on an automated concierge service that allows planners to book everything they need for an event (think catering, furniture, and entertainment) all in one place - for free. Planned already works with over 80 companies across Canada, such as; PwC, Element AI, BMO, L’Oréal, Google, Samsung, & Airbnb.

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be a crucial part in growing our corporate clientele across North America while working alongside a fast-paced, diverse and exciting team.


Key Responsibilities
- You will plan for business growth by identifying opportunities and pursuing them in partnership with Account Managers and our Marketing team
- Perform a high number of cold calls and send strategic emails to create a great first impression for clients
- Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Business Development Representatives in new markets
- Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
- Bring your creative self and your passion for well-crafted events to work every day, and communicate your unique voice to these various events for a diverse range of clients

Who you are:
- Outgoing, personable, target-oriented and passionate
- Receptive to feedback & coaching
- Execution over delegation mindset, willing to take on a variety of challenges as they arise
- At least one year of professional experience, whether it be in business development, account management, sales, marketing, retail, event planning or food & beverage

Personal and Professional Competencies:
- Confident, influential, and competent when interacting with others.
- Reliable written and verbal skills. Equally strong listening skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.
- Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce is considered an asset
- Exhibits assertiveness, sharp perception, and insightfulness.
- Unquestionable business and personal integrity, discretion, and judgment.
- Is passionate about the event industry and keeps tabs on new trends
- Connections and previous experience in the event planning industry are considered to be an asset
