Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR professional who will be an integral part of the leadership team and who can thrive in a high-growth startup environment. As the Head of Talent, you will be in charge of enhancing our culture, establishing the HR foundation, recruiting a lot of people, and keeping our employees happy and engaged. To be successful in this role you must be passionate about designing the greatest talent acquisition programs, crafting a delightful employee experience and developing employees in stride with social growth. This is an exciting opportunity to bolster the foundation, processes, and systems that will fulfill and empower teammates as we continue to grow rapidly.

You will be responsible for culture, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, people analytics, learning and development, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits and internal administration.



Key Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of applicable People & Culture / Human Resources experience in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

• You have a proven track record of implementing strategic recruiting practices in a high growth company

• Success in hiring both non-technical and technical talent in a highly competitive market

• Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment

• Deep expertise in social media, digital marketing and recruiting platforms/tools, and employer brand best practices

• Strong interpersonal savvy and self-awareness with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptionally high EQ and ability to manage and organize teams and people

• You believe that diversity of background and experience brings out the best in a team

• Possessing an advanced degree is preferred



Responsibilities

• You'll look for ways to have an impact on each employee and continuously search for new ways to grow our teams both expertly and personally

• You'll be a member of our Senior Management Team and regularly interacting with the Team , our CEO and Board of Directors

• Manage efficient, fast-paced full-cycle recruiting operations that support VOLANS-I's rapid growth plans

• Utilize knowledge of business needs and priorities to develop recruiting strategies and programs that ensure an ongoing pipeline of top talent to fill positions at all levels in the organization including strategic and executive searches.

• Evaluate, streamline and improve current recruiting processes

• Partner with the management team to determine long-term growth strategy for the company

• Develop a plan to hire the best technical and non-technical talent

• Develop and champion strategic recruiting initiatives including interview training, employment branding, culture assessments, compensation plans, employee retention, etc.

• Recruit for strategic technical and senior roles as needed

• Constantly evaluate external trends and identify opportunities to promote creative and out-of-the-box recruiting strategies

• You'll create open and genuine approaches to performance management and knowledge sharing

• Create a strategic plan and organizational model that provides a unique menu of talent services designed to operate at a scale and efficiency for the business and talent acquisition function

• Build talent communities and talent pipelines for critical skill areas and diversity sourcing efforts, that yield into hiring outcomes for the business

• Keep abreast of external trends and innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices

• Develop and implement diversity and inclusion, university recruiting, employer branding efforts and strategy

• Develop and implement workforce plans, refine hiring forecasting capabilities, and establish and report on key recruiting metrics to measure team effectiveness and provide data-driven, actionable insights
