The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and executing the marketing and communications plan to enable the business to meet its growth and targets. This role has responsibility for all marketing and communications activity for the full range of company offerings, both current and future. The role has pan India responsibility.

Customer Excellence

Create innovative and scalable marketing strategies and structure implementation plans that build the brand, drive increased awareness, generate leads and result in increased revenues.
Develop and deploy a cutting-edge and thought leading marketing presence across all marketing channels, through the use of the latest tools and social engagement strategies.
Develop and implement strategies to help the Company deliver a world-class and differentiating experience.
Implement and develop capability to grow consumer data mining by developing targeted marketing strategies.
Develop campaigns and strategies for retention and re-engagement.
Be a champion of the brand not just with external/customer-facing work but with internal colleagues, driving living the brand activities/actions

Process Excellence

Develop and define corporate and product brand strategies that support the Company s vision and mission.
Lead marketing teams in creating aggressive awareness, revenue, and growth targets and meeting annual goals effectively.
Ensure marketing strategies & communications adheres to applicable laws and government regulations.
Analyze and improve the technology standards across the company to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.
Define and Implement mechanisms to track real-time ROI to remain agile and to make timely adjustments by tactic or market
Be a strong ambassador for the company, both internally and externally
Provide effective measurement and analysis of marketing and communications activity to inform decision making for all future plans
Act as partner and consultant to fellow Business heads and their teams, developing creative approaches to help them address requirements relevant to marketing.

Finance Excellence

Meet the defined revenue target
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the marketing department
Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in marketing systems and resources (i.e. staffing, sourcing, and purchasing).
Assess and communicate risks associated with marketing investments.
Manage vendors in the marketing space (i.e. events, assets, media, etc.).

People Excellence

Place a priority on people development including ensuring strong organization structure and talent in place, succession plans in place and transparent, open environment that encourages creativity and appropriate risk-taking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operating processes to support potential high-touch and lower-touch relationships
Design and implement a plan to provide continuous feedback to the team and better their productivity
Actively contribute and participate in various organizational activities held time-to-time on different occasions.

External Interactions: Vendors, Channel Partners and clients

Preferred Qualification

5+ years of experience in successfully leading, managing and developing teams of marketing professionals. Should have developed marketing strategies for a brand from ground up
Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
A strong leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
Ability to collaborate with different teams, superior influencing skills, and strong senior-level communication abilities
Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment
