We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join our team and manage day-to-day hiring and operations functions. This position will report directly to the CEO.

Your job is to help make everything work – and you’re the kind of person who thrives on that. You'll take the lead on hiring and recruiting to grow our team - and we have ambitious goals there over the next year. The ideal candidate for this role is hyper-organized and proactively finds ways to make the entire company work better. This role is intended for someone who is eager to take on significant responsibility at a growing early-stage company, and play a key role in helping drive that growth.

At Vigilant, we’re building a platform for public data access. We integrate data from thousands of public records data sources (e.g. balkanized government data like business registrations and licenses, contract data, political contribution and lobbying records and much more) and make it easily accessible and actionable for our customers – which include some of the world’s largest largest financial institutions, media organizations, and political organizations and campaigns. They rely on our platform to provide them with the information they need to know, when they need to know it.

In this role, you’ll manage:

Talent Recruiting: Source candidates, conduct phone screens, coordinate interview process, and track candidate metrics.

Human Resources: Responsible for the full life cycle of HR, including on-boarding, contracting, benefits management, etc.

Office Management: Manage corporate and legal operations, business travel, expense management, visitor accommodation, team meals, snacks, office supplies, etc.

Finance: Work with outside accountants, review financial statements, and execute payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Executive Support: Scheduling support, project management and special projects for CEO


Qualifications:


- A fierce determination to get the job done, regardless of the obstacles

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Curious and quick (and excited) to learn new things. Interest in learning the ins and outs of an early-stage, high-growth technology company

- Humility

-Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

- 2+ years experience in Operations, Recruiting, Business Development, Customer Success, or other relevant role

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
