Digital identity is an exciting field! Every year, more types of businesses (from finance to eCommerce, mobility and beyond) need positive identification for preventing fraud and ensuring customer safety. verify-u is a leading technology company providing digital identification and authentication, helping business to complete their KYC/AML checks and fighting fraudulent accounts.

In order to develop and expand the verify-u business across the DACH region, we are searching for a talented Sales Manager.

- Deliver against key performance indicators and objectives
- Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close key new business deals
- Build and maintain a solid and robustly qualified pipeline of sales opportunities within assigned industry verticals growing to a level of 3x target coverage.
- Develop strategy, produce win-plans and execute on major deals.
- Define target list and engage suspects based on clearly defined criteria.
- Carry out and record target prospect meetings in line with agreed KPIs.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the factors impacting adoption and trends for assigned verticals.
- Generate strong relationships with senior executives within customer and prospect base.
- Develop and sustain a network of contacts and key individuals in assigned verticals and target market.
- Move leads down the acquisition funnel. Constantly evaluate the best path to create long-term value.
- Develop frameworks to track and analyze partnership efforts.
- Build and leverage an understanding of the competition and their propositions.
- Complete regular reports and other administrative requirements.
- Other tasks as required and commensurate with role.

- Excellent communicator with strong presentation, numeracy and written skills in both German and English
- A consultative sales person who can identify and sell against key business drivers
- A highly skilled and experienced negotiator who is able to quickly build relationships.
- Someone who is able to demonstrate strong commercial understanding and business acumen.
- Strong sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, campaign management).
- A good understanding of sales processes and demonstration of sales savvy.
- Proven track record of identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities.
- Proven and consistent track record of achievement.
- Strong problem solving abilities; able to facilitate discussions and move the group to agreement.
- Able to travel within designated territory and able to work with the minimum of supervision.

BONUS if you have: Specific background/experience in finance/FinTech or KYC startup experience.
