Our client is a young and rapidly-growing FinTech company that allows e-commerce businesses and online merchants to accept credit card and alternative payments over the internet. Founded in 2012 by FinTech industry experts, the company has won over 190 global clients including KFC, Virgin Media and the coffee chain Harris + Hoole. This is a Tech startup with a mission- to be the most admired payments company in the world. This company understands that employee satisfaction is fundamental to the success of the business, and the CEO’s goal is to “wow and delight” his employees with a great working environment, and an eye-watering list of perks, from a £1,000 holiday allowance to an onsite personal trainer. Venatrix is seeking two outstanding graduates to join this company as Sales Development Representatives, and to play a key role in ensuring the business’s success by building relationships with decision makers in must-win strategic accounts. This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial, ambitious graduate who wants to learn vital commercial skills and gain firsthand understanding of the world of successful Tech startups while enjoying all the perks of a fun, informal startup environment.The reason this company is hiring because they are promoting their three existing Venatrix SDRs into client faxing sales roles.
The Role
As Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for initiating the relationships that will turn into business opportunities for the company. Day-to-day, you will:
Gain a deep understanding of the company’s solution and its commercial benefits.
Receive and qualify inbound leads, turning them into business opportunities.
Book 15 client meetings per month.
Drive new business in must-win strategic accounts via cold calling, emailing and social media.
Partner with experienced Directors and Account Executives to determine a strategic approach to target decision makers and C-Suite executives.
Shadow the senior Sales team on client meetings.
