Store Deployment Strategist

About Veeve: Veeve is a Computer Vision and AI startup based out of Seattle. Veeve is reinventing the way customers shop in-stores using an innovative smart cart technology. The Veeve smart cart allows shoppers to eliminate the traditional checkout process. The shopper just places items in the cart while the bill automatically tallies as they go and when they’re done shopping they just pay at the cart and walk out. Veeve uses machine learning, sensor technology, machine vision and artificial intelligence to enable product recognition. Our founding team consists of employees from Amazon and Google with 30+ years of industry experience.

We are seeking a future entrepreneur to join our team to assist the senior executive team. This position offers great insights into startups. The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, have great written and verbal communication skills, and interest in the startup industry. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with all functions in the company, being the critical glue that translates the needs of our customers and our market into new product features.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and encourage them to try out the smart carts
• Demonstrate how the Veeve cart works
• Monitor the customer shopping journey using Veeve powered tablets and ensure customers get a seamless experience
• Troubleshoot carts and ensure they are operational at all times
• Assist in collecting product/SKU data to improve overall cart/customer experience
• Train store associates to manage smart carts
• Collect customer & employee feedback and share with the product and technology teams

Qualifications

• BA/BS/Master’s degree or pursuing one
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service focused mentality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• A deep passion for the ecosystem of tech startups
• A desire to take ownership of work
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Background in technology
• Can lift and push bulky items
• Must be able to travel occasionally
