We’re searching for a software engineer to build out and enhance our product. The role will involve building and maintaining software to enhance various parts of the application. You will be entrusted with building a set of scalable APIs and managing the underlying infrastructure on which they are run. Your role will also involve integrating our platform with a variety of external data sources and systems to ensure a smooth experience for our customers. Broadly, you will get entrusted with a very broad range of projects from cloud infrastructure management and deployment to developing software libraries and webapps. We want you to fix anything you think can be fixed, whether you have been tasked with it or not!

Specifically we want someone who can:

- Design, build and maintain software systems
- Ensure the integrity and coherence of data across different systems and configurations.
- Build integrations with customer systems and common third party platforms.
- Build a variety of integrations with external APIs as an integral source of data for our platform.
- Do anything relevant that comes up!

Skills we expect:

- Strong working knowledge of Python
- Have a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals
- Know your way around complex code bases and debugging
- Have the ability to dig deep into open source libraries, fix and optimize them
- Have a knowledge of various modern development paradigms (CI/CD, containers, etc.)

Experience that would be good to have:

- Experience with Javascript and at least one other mainstream language
- Technical education in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Evidence of working with wide ranging projects, whether at work or otherwise
- History of contributing to open source projects
