Our team is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a biostatistician with diverse expertise, who isn't afraid to take on new challenges, and is as passionate about improving human health as we are. We’re seeking someone that has expertise working with large scale biomedical datasets and modeling quantitative phenotypes in the context of human health.

The position responsibilities include:
- Cleaning, normalizing, and analyzing large-scale biomedical databases including electronic health records, survey data, and biomarker measurements.
- Working closely with a clinician to perform statistical modeling of phenotypes in order to understand cross-phenotype correlations, comorbidities, and confounding variables.
- Processing, aggregating, and managing data from external sources such as public biobanks, governmental reports, and scientific publications.

The skills and qualifications required for the position are:
- Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field with a relevant dissertation. - Experience working with large scale biomedical databases like biobanks, hospital records, etc.
- Deep understanding of a variety of statistical modeling methods and their appropriateness across data types and scientific hypotheses.
- Strong coding proficiency in Python and R.

We’d prefer applicants with the following:
- At least two years of industry or post-doctoral experience.
- Basic understanding of biology and genetics in the context of human health. - Ability to implement analysis pipelines in a cloud-based environment like Amazon Web Services.
