THE ROLE
The Lead Development Representative is an entry-level position reporting to the Director of Sales Operations & Strategy. The LDR will enhance quality, sales-ready leads from inbound Marketing generated leads as well as establish outbound contacts targeting key personas and accounts. This role is crucial as it is one of the first touch points for prospects and will set the tone for the overall sales cycle.

This is an ideal first job in a dynamic Software company, getting visibility into the inner workings of the Sales and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

Gather key information about prospects prior to outreach to ensure effective conversation
Following best practices, including, but not limited to maintaining data in Salesforce.com, pipeline management, KPI tracking, etc.
Achieving individual productivity goals
Enhance inbound leads by reviewing data, updating key fields and coordinating with the Sales Development team
Research accounts and identify key contacts
Maintain data integrity in Salesforce.com
Complete scheduled and ad hoc data cleansing projects

The Ideal Candidate will possess:
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
An understanding of databases and ideally, some knowledge of Salesforce.com
Ability to think on your feet and operate independently
The desire to have full comprehension of the lead flow process
Ability to succeed in a collaborative, start-up-paced environment.
Experience working with Sales Organizations.
High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred: 0-3 years in a lead development or high volume sales environment
Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong attention to detail.
