We are looking for a passionate, positive, problem solver to join our growing team as Customer Operations Manager

Urban Jungle are using technology to build an insurance company for a new generation of customers. We offer better-suited products, which are much better value, and all sorted in minutes. Over two years of consistently doing the right thing we’ve built the top rated home insurance provider in the UK and are growing incredibly quickly

We’ve launched some great products, closed a new funding round and now need to bring someone on board to help us scale our Customer Operations, playing an integral role in the team and reporting to the Director of Operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the front line for Urban Jungle’s Customer Service team, solving customer problems by answering customers’ queries across multiple channels
* Managing customer operations processes, and helping find ways to optimise these
* Proactively shaping our approach to Customer Operations, defining processes and training the wider team to improve our customers’ experience of insurance
* Making sure the rest of the company stays customer focussed, feeding back to the product, engineering, insurance and marketing teams about what matters to our customers.
* Shaping and growing this team as the business rapidly expands.

What we’re looking for someone who is:
* Smart, self-motivated and looking for an exciting challenge in a rapidly growing startup
* Passionate about how technology can make customers’ lives better
* A great communicator who loves solving problems for people with positivity, empathy and patience
* Super organised, and comfortable multitasking to tight deadlines
* Highly detail oriented but can also see the wood for the trees and make processes better
* Works well independently as well as part of a team
* Has a can-do and self-improving mindset, and is comfortable with ambiguity

You should apply if you have:
* A degree in English, creative writing or languages, and / or similar or relevant experience in a communications or customer service role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience with Customer Service platforms like Intercom and Zendesk a plus
* Experience in a regulated industry, particularly insurance claims or financial products a plus
