About the Position
Reporting to the Technical Security Manager, the Analyst monitors assets for security events, develops and deploys new and existing tools to assist with security monitoring, and participates in the process of obtaining and maintaining industry certifications.
- Conduct network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using SIEM on the AWS and GCP clouds- Identify and provide remediation advice for platform and software vulnerabilities - Work with development and product teams to identify and mitigate risk during new feature development within core applications- Develop custom in-house tools and rules to aid in monitoring and detection across multiple products in the AWS and GCP clouds- Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of security events or applicability to Airship’s systems, use this research to aid in development of new in house scripts, tools, and alerts- Triage and analyze Bug Bounty Program submissions- Recommend improvements to the Information Security Program to the Technical Security Manager- Ensure compliance with all applicable configuration standards- Working to secure CI/CD pipelines deployment model
Has four or more of the following
- Four-year degree in Computer Science or related field (Or equivalent work experience)- Has worked as a Developer in a professional capacity for 5+ years -Has worked as a front-end or full stack Developer in a professional capacity developing web applications and working with APIs- Experience with containerized workloads- Proficient in either or both of the following languages; Python (django), Java- Industry certifications (Security+, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, AWS Certified, Google GCP Certified)- Experience with AWS and / or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred ###
