As a part-time Customer Support Specialist at Upswing, you will help us provide an excellent customer experience through clear communication, troubleshooting, and collaboartion with team members. You will specifically work with our operations team to provide customer support efforts that will enhance our live chat, ticketing responses, and text message interactions with college students and admins.

In this role, you'll get to work alongside team members to:

Provide excellent customer support. You will interact directly with end users of our product to help provide troubleshooting and technical guidance. This may involve direct chat, responding to user inquiries, and occasionally interacting with users through screensharing and other virtual means.
Communicate issues and questions from customers. As you support students and admins using the Upswing platform, it's impotant that critical issues are communicated to product team members as they arise and the right level of context is provided to aid in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues.

  • Be tech savvy and able to quickly learn new software
  • Communicate clearly and effectively
  • Have an empathetic and fun personality
  • Be detail-oriented and organized
  • Be able to work part-time during the hours of 8am-12pm CST Monday through Friday

Some extra things that may set you apart:

  • Experience with software platforms Airtable, Zapier, and Dialog Flow
  • Working knowledge of user experience
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Periscope, or Mixpanel
  • Experience with customer service at a tech startup
