We’re looking for energetic, determined and entrepreneurial recent graduates to join our growing team in NYC as Business Development Associates. This is a unique opportunity to join an international startup scaling in the U.S., learn valuable business development and growth strategy skills, and make an impact early in your career.

UpSlide is a rapidly growing SaaS scale-up dedicated to helping modernize the way financial services professionals work. Our Microsoft Office add-in is used by firms like Citi, KPMG, and Deloitte to streamline the process of building pitches, financial reports, and other deliverables. Today we are around 80 people across five offices in Paris, London, Berlin, Singapore, and New York.

Responsibilities:

This role will provide you with the knowledge and skills to become a successful business development professional and insight into the process of scaling an international SaaS startup.

You’ll work closely with the U.S. CEO to develop growth strategies, seek out new business opportunities, and prospect potential clients across North America.

There are opportunities for quick progression within the U.S. business development team.  

Key activities:

• Conduct market research and identify opportunities  
• Build strategic account plans  
• Define and implement outbound sales campaigns  
• Generate new business opportunities 
• Innovate and optimize our business development strategy 

This role will provide you with the knowledge and skills to become a successful business development professional and insight into the process of scaling-up a B2B tech business.

You will gain exposure to not only the Business Development team, but also Marketing and Product Development who you'll be working closely with on various projects. This role also provides a great platform for a career in entrepreneurship, marketing, partnerships and growth.

Requirements:

• A minimum 3.4 GPA or equivalent from a top-tier college or university  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Entrepreneurial and goal-driven team player 
• Curious and fast learner  
• Eligible to work in the US 

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience or familiarity with the financial services 
• Experience in sales, business development, or growth strategy 
• Speak a second language

Salary: Competitive package, with fixed salary + bonus
