Upptic is looking for an Analytics Manager to join our team in Oakland, California.

What You'll Do:

  • Help bring great mobile games to millions of passionate gamers around the world.

  • Lead on client accounts, manage multiple stakeholder expectations, and deliver on timelines.

  • Spearhead efforts to build reporting dashboards and predictive modeling tools that will enable us to profitably scale apps to new heights by optimizing creatives, targeting, bids, and budgets.

  • Undertake the development of project proposals, set deadlines/schedules, for your team, in addition to training the staff.

  • Drive A/B testing and creative optimization, sharing your findings with your team and clients.

  • Work with IT/engineering teams to embed solutions in business decision chains.

  • Vet external analytical products/services for evaluating buying vs. building in-house.

Work Experience:

  • 6-8 years of experience as an analyst in marketing, consulting, product management, or similar roles.

  • Proven experience driving large scale analytics initiatives.

  • 2+ years managing other analysts.

  • Ability to engage client stakeholders to define business needs and present results

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with data science techniques and tools, including R or Python.

  • 7+ years using SQL to drive analytics.

  • 2+ years of experience in visualization and BI tools like Tableau. Familiarity with Statistics is a plus.

  • Expert level skills with Excel is a must.

  • Familiarity with programmatically extracting and refining large amounts of raw data.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as AWS and GCP is a plus

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in math, statistics, computer science, business, economics, or other quantitative field preferred.

Graduate in Business Analytics or MBA is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Passion for gaming and games industry.

  • Experience working in cross team environments from around the globe.

  • Able to explain technical concepts to internal/external non-technical clients.

  • Familiarity with terms and concepts around paid advertising and other marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with User Acquisition or general Performance Marketing

  • Experienced with forecasting and modeling for marketing.
