We are looking for an experienced and highly-motivated sales professional to join our mission-driven team and close deals with organizations and funding sources in the impact sector (NGOs, nonprofits, impact investors, foundations, etc.). The role requires both experience in consultative sales with small and mid-sized businesses, and a solid understanding of the impact sector stakeholders and dynamics. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to play a critical role in transforming the philanthropic sector’s approach to impact evaluation.

\\ Job Responsibilities

- Build your own strategic plan to source and close deals to meet your goals
- Source new strategic prospects through proactive outreach, referrals/introductions, industry events and collaboration with the Marketing team on ABM strategy
- Manage your own pipeline of deals from demo to proposal to close
- Help manage and close key deals sourced by company executives and senior team members
- Become a subject matter expert on UpMetrics products and data-driven impact evaluation
- Collaborate with your team to develop a shared expertise of selling into the impact sector
- Collaborate with Client Success to facilitate smooth handoffs and long term client success
- Provide feedback to Product & Engineering to help drive the product roadmap

\\ About You

- 3+ years of experience in consultative sales with small/mid-sized businesses (ideally SaaS)
- Experience within and/or deep understanding of the impact sector
- Excellent ability to understand prospects’ needs, build relevant proposals and nurture long-term relationships (existing relationships in the sector is a strong plus)
- Ability to build a strategic plan, execute and make KPI-driven decisions to adjust as you go
- Strong problem-solving, business judgment and analytical skills (to understand clients’ data)
- Resourcefulness, emotional intelligence, enthusiasm and willingness to help others
- Interest and comfort working in a small, fast-paced organization
- Strong motivation to scale a for-profit, impact-driven business model (do well - do good!)
