About Us:
unspun is a digital apparel and robotics company building custom jeans for each consumer, on demand. Our mission is to reduce global carbon emissions by 1% through automated, localized, and intentional manufacturing. Our revolutionary technology is currently being realized through our own consumer denim brand, a software platform powering digital customization for multiple large apparel labels, and a National Science Foundation-backed hardware team working on the future of additive and automated apparel production. As a consumer apparel brand with technology in our blood, we’re taking a bold new approach towards building the digital brand of the future. From 3D body scan to perfect-fit garment, our digital roots give us the opportunity to bridge online and in-store experiences in an entirely new way; jeans engineered for you from the future.

About you:
You love pursuing new ideas and growing strong movements. You want this world to be a better place, and want to bring others along for the ride. You love inspiring people, and understand the power of data and a quantifiable marketing strategy. You are energized by building communities of people who can make it happen, and are excited about launching a successful consumer brand from the early stage of growth.

As unspun’s Growth Lead, you will:
• be primarily responsible for increasing awareness of unspun
• build the strategies and tactics for rapid growth across multiple channels (word of mouth, social media, content marketing, and more)
• own and manage our customer acquisition strategy
• direct the content and messaging from our creative teams into effective growth marketing strategies
• prioritize and navigate brand positioning to pierce the noise and deliver aspirational and clear content
• intimately understand and quantify the most impactful touch points with our customers
• help the brand and product teams clarify and execute on brand values, voice, and aesthetic
• initiate continuous and consistent customer and trend research
• lead metric gathering for campaigns and messages that not only resonate, but also inspire and rally
• in the future, recruit and build a world-class marketing team
• work with us from our US headquarters in San Francisco

You probably have:
• A recent track record of marketing a brand from ground zero to up-and-coming
• A history of metric-driven marketing and branding, with impressive results
• 5+ years of experience in attracting, converting, and nurturing customers
• An eye and an ear for cohesive and consistent brand visual aesthetic and creative voice
• A reputation for deeply understanding the nuances of social media and marketing channels

We’re aspiring chess masters, and climbers, capoeiristas and bakers, snowboarders and photographers. Originally spun out of Stanford and the University of Colorado, we now call downtown San Francisco home, with strong ties to Hong Kong. We are looking for teammates who share our desire to work on ambitious problems and leave the world better than we found it.
