Sr. PHP Engineer (multiple positions)

Job Description

We are looking for a Server Side Developer who is driven by the art of programming. As a core member of the Development team, the candidate will take the ownership of project(s) by working independently with little supervision. If you also have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility with assignments. This includes gathering and understanding requirements, technical specifications, design, architecture, implementation, unit testing, builds/deployments, and code management.
• Analyze user requirements and translate/implement into database code
• Collaborate with other team members (technical and non-technical) including database development team, infrastructure, web developers, and other teams as needed
• Evaluate, assess, plan, and guide the technical direction and architecture decisions.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Document development phases and monitor systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Develop and lead source code management practices and systems
• Guide the development team through the process of design, development, and unit testing
• Should independently drive and execute complex technical requirements

**Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• Expert understanding of PHP / Laravel / homestead
• Proficient understanding PHPUnit & phpstorm , PHP App deployment
  
• Should have a good command on JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks will be preferred (such as VueJS , AngularJS, OR ReactJS)
• Experience in redis / sqs / memcachedis - a big Plus
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Hands on experience in Object Oriented Programing, Design Patterns.
• Experience using MySQL & MongoDB
• Experience with Unix/Linux
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with high scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation
• Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability
• B.E/B-Tech/BCA/BSc in Computer Science or a related degree
• Development experience of 3+ years
