Purpose:
Systems Engineering is a cross-functional engineering team that is responsible for planning and
execution of design and development processes. This team will work along with hardware and
software teams to generate the system level requirements. Systems engineering team is also
responsible to plan and execute integration and testing activities to ensure that the systems meet the
performance metrics.
In this team you will be working with various systems and subsystems like sensing and actuation
systems that would be critical in the robots and robotic systems for automating the warehouse
operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting the system level requirements for evaluating the technical feasibility and understanding the technical challenges in integration
  • Developing mathematical models to simulate and analyse the controllability and stability of the desired systems
  • Developing control strategies and algorithms for stable and robust control
  • Integrating and testing the designed systems through simulation and with hardware in loop
  • Selection, evaluation and testing of appropriate control components
  • Coordinating with the engineering teams and product stakeholders to deliver the necessary system level requirements

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in mathematical modelling of Electro-mechanical systems and perform simulations on MATLAB Simulink
  • Good knowledge of Control strategies like PIDs, Sliding mode adaptive controllers and Model reference controllers
  • Good knowledge in applications of Linear Algebra
  • Strong Knowledge about various types of motors along with their modelling, parameter estimation, simulation and controls
  • Understanding of Embedded software development in C/C++
  • Knowledge and understanding of various sensors and their error modelling techniques.

Eligible candidates:

  • Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Power Electronics or equivalent degree with specialization and relevant experience in designing Control Systems.
