The Role

We are looking for a performance marketing expert to own our paid channels. We currently run several large, complex, paid search accounts, with automation, dynamic bidding and location targeting at the heart of them. You will take responsibility for over £1m of annual advertising spend, and help grow and optimise what is currently our largest customer acquisition channel.

The role will include:

Producing and evolving the strategy for paid marketing channels, including paid search and paid social (particularly Adwords and Facebook).

Own the testing and optimising plan for paid search, paid social and other channels, running regular A/B tests and presenting your learnings and recommendations to your team.

Supporting the professional development of members of the Growth team, providing guidance and mentoring wherever possible to improve their understanding and abilities in all areas of marketing.

Collaborating and helping colleagues with the strategy and management of other channels, including, SEO, Partnerships, Social, and Video, on an ad-hoc basis.

Analysing results of marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities for development and learning and influencing the future marketing strategy

Providing regular updates and reports on progress to key stakeholders and the wider business


About you:

You are someone who has managed (hands-on) large complex paid search accounts. You love spending your time in Google Ads and Facebook Ads, planning and implementing campaign restructures, experiments, ad copy testing and hunting down the last 1% of ROI improvement.

You enjoy optimising and automating complex advertising setups, including using third party tools and Google scripts.

You have best in class understanding of Paid Search features including Audiences, Smart bidding, Day Parting, Ad Rotation, Bid Optimisation, Location targeting & Audience profiling.

You have experience of designing and implementing paid social campaigns, including Facebook and Instagram.

You have a passion for data and analysis, and have a good understanding of SQL.
