The shift from desktop to mobile has created a huge problem for digital advertisers because they can't effectively target mobile consumers, resulting in ad rates that are 80% lower than desktop ads. Twine's solve is a proprietary technology that has already been adopted by top data, mobile ad networks/ad-tech companies. Solution: Twine's technology connects what "events" consumers complete in apps (e.g. scan a barcode, check in, share) to audiences that advertisers want to reach. Apps can generate revenue off of the 80% of users that are no longer active, or off of active users when they are not in-app. This data set provides mobile ad buyers (e.g. ad agencies) and sellers (ad networks) with audiences that allow them to hyper-target app ads. Business Model: Twine generates platform subscription revenue. Twine has targeting data on 40% of all US smartphones.
