CTO/Co Founder

*CTO immersive technologies in e-commerce, publishing and advertising *

Ideally based in Madrid, Spain but open to receive candidate applications working remotely.

10-year-old TRC Publishing International LTD and its immersive technologies sister company, are recruiting a CTO to lead the technological implementation of the company´s vision to use immersive technologies to positively transform customer experiences in e-commerce, publishing and advertising.

Technical skills required

Full stack development expertise (HTML5, Node.js, Three.js, React.js… ) and expertise in scalable micro services and cloud architecture (Docker, Kubernetes)
+5 years experience working with immersive technologies (mainly AR)

Proficient with XR frameworks such as ARkit, ARCore or WebAR. We also use Unity.
Experience building cloud architecture with providers such as AWS (Snowflake is a great plus)

Strong understanding of data structures and data flow architectures
Ability to assess cloud architecture, evaluate cloud server requirements, lead and/or oversee implementation, deployment, and provisioning

Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Proficient in English is a must. Spanish is a plus.

Strong communication skills and +5 years experience of technical management teams
Valuable professional networks and knowledge of the advertising and/or e-commerce industries
Growth mindset, intrinsic curiosity and motivation to overcome problems and develop most efficient solutions
Problem solver and entrepreneurial mindset
Good understanding of the latest retail and marketing trends

Constant learning and ability to keep up to date in novel technologies and frameworks
Attention to detail, quality oriented and customer centric attitude.

Preferred candidates
5+ years experience (ideally in tech start-up)
Someone with a strong network who has worked in advertising
