The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be responsible for the efficiency of our business and cultivating our culture. The GM role is a key member of the senior management team. You will have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.
The goal of the GM position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate for our Director of Operations role is willing to roll up their sleeves and build the department from the ground up. You must be self-motivated and strive for excellence. Areas of Responsibility:
Deal Execution and Management
Designing and implementing business operations
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Provide leadership at all levels of the organization
Establish, communicate, and embody policies that promote company culture and vision
Manage profit and loss statements and account for cost and revenues
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports in all matters of importance
Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
Manage relationships with partners/vendors

Proven experience as a GM, Chief of Staff, or relevant role
Problem-solving skills are crucial to analyzing past and current performance and recommending objectives to improve productivity and profitability
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Experience in fundraising will be a plus
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving
MSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field from a top-ranking university; MSc/MBA is a plus
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Very comfortable with international and domestic travel
Excellent track record of meeting and exceeding goals
Familiar with current productivity technology tools (i.e., Slack)
Strong business acumen with a 24/7 work ethic mentality
The ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and the challenge of quickly evolving goals
