Timber is looking for a sales development representative to help build and scale a growing base of happy developers and customers.

As an early member of the team, you’ll have a profound impact on what we build, how we grow, and the relationships we develop with our customers.

[Key responsibilities]

- Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
- Work closely and collaboratively with the founders to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Create a great first impression with our prospects by inspiring them to learn how Timber can benefit their business
- Schedule discovery meetings and demos for the founders to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Timber
- Convert leads to opportunities and maintain immaculate pipeline health
- Gain fundamental knowledge on how to be a great salesperson while influencing product development through daily use and feedback

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of high achievement
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with engineering teams and their needs
- Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities
- Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
- The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- Naturally curious and passionate with sincere empathy for customers
- The technical aptitude to master our sales tools
- A keenly developed competitive nature
