CTO/ Tech Lead/ Technical Co-Founder to be 1st Dev on Team

What is ThoroStat?

ThoroStat is a horse racing wagering and recommendation platform that uses real-time data to provide users selections per race or to help build multi-race wagers. Our industry is still way behind when it comes to using technology but we want to grow into the #1 platform for all types of horseplayers from experienced daily players to casual fans who attend the largest racing days of the year.

We are currently building our first go to market version of our platform and looking for a CTO/Tech lead to come aboard. We would like someone with a background in Machine learning and building Full Stack with a vision to lead our technology side of the business. An interest or experience in sports/horse racing and wagering or other previous business is a plus. This person will also need to have experience with Machine learning, as the vision is to have our system learning and detect patterns to better provide insight to our users. This role is currently equity Only so please do not apply if you are looking for a salary at the moment.

Our goal is to become the leading platofrm for every day handicappers or casual race players to have access to real-time race selections/recommendations. We are 100% remote and this person while it is a leadership role, will be Employee #2 and must be hands on in development. This role is Equity only with no current salary and avaialbel for full-time or if someone is looking to work part-time/side hustle until we can focus full time I am open to that as well.
