The Role

This is a hybrid marketing & sales position we have curated here at Think It Plus and we have named it a Creative Account Manager: we are looking for professional sales driven individuals who love creating social media content and creating digital strategies for clients while building long term relationships, this is not a customer service representative role!

You need to be ready to take charge of designing, creating, managing, and applying effective marketing and social media strategies that will not only promote our clients external brand, but also expand revenue and support our internal culture. Using these discoveries, you’ll strive to implement promotional and social marketing plans, as well as strategies and campaigns to maximize and uncover new revenue streams and heighten brand awareness for the clients you manage.
This is a great opportunity to work across multiple marketing functions and be a major day-to-day contributor across our client’s website, social media, lead nurturing and marketing programs. Our Creative Account Manager must love building relationships with clients, coming up with new ideas for them and up-selling products and services (website improvements, social media campaigns, SEM), and are willing to go the extra mile to help everyone achieve success.
You will also be given a lead list that you will be following up with and scheduling meetings with potential clients. This lead list will be tailored towards your personal needs and favorites along with Think It Plus target markets.

YOUR SKILLS
• Live and breathe social; bordering on neurotic checker of Twitter, Facebook etc.
You’re a self-starter who loves to learn and work with minimal management, and always gets it done … on time. Highly self-motivated, driven, energetic, personable, resourceful
• You can create and manage the execution of digital demand generation programs through paid search and retargeting to support marketing programs such as product launches, webinars, tradeshows, speaking engagements etc.
• Hands-on experience with alternative digital marketing channels (Email, Google AdWords, Affiliate networks, Facebook ads, and Instagram ads.
• You’re the go-to for all the latest social media, marketing and advertising news and trends.
• Bachelors and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field.
• Experienced (within the past 3 months) in planning AND executing paid media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and Google display network.
• You’ll collaborate with applicable business owners and cross functional teams to identify specific marketing needs and manage all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
• You’ll initiate research, development and implementation of marketing programs
• You'll also monitor, evaluate and report on the productivity of marketing activities and results as well as competitor and market trends to make recommendations based on findings
• You’ll take ownership of the client website development, maintenance and customer service
• You will create and manage all social media content creation, curation, event and activity promotion for the clients you manage.
• You’ll build and manage your clients SEO strategy, budget and resources
• Excellent knowledge of successful marketing and social media principles and brand management and demonstrated superior knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Yelp, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• A proven track record in creating and executing successful marketing programs
• You’re a self-starter, self-directed and are results oriented
• You’re flexible and thrive in a dynamic and changing work environment
• Develop innovative ways to improve, nurture, and enrich the company’s brand and corporate identity.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results.
