Thea Health’s software platform allows primary care doctors to securely ask questions of specialists and other healthcare providers ahead of treatment decisions. We’ve secured early funding and have launched our product in Pennsylvania.

We are looking for a customer success specialist who can work to ensure that our customers get the most out of our product. As an early employee, you will be responsible for decisions that will shape the identity of the product and our culture. You’ll need to be empathetic, excited about the fast-paced startup environment, and willing to wear many hats.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about working on technology that will improve the lives of patients and fix some of the problems in our healthcare system.

**What You’ll Do**

- Develop implementation and support processes for the product
- Train new providers on using the platform
- Handle customer support requests
- Measure improvements in our customers’ quality or financial performance and take actions to help them improve where possible
- Work with developers to translate customer feedback into product improvements and new features
- Anything else that comes up

**Skills and Requirements**

- Experience working with physicians (especially PCPs)
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Ability to travel to the East Coast semi-regularly to meet with customers (and to California if remote)
- A working knowledge of value-based care, population health, and/or quality management
- A working knowledge of healthcare administration terminology (revenue cycle, medical billing/coding, credentialing, HIPAA compliance, etc.)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and to quickly pick up new technologies

**Nice to Have**

- Health IT experience (EMR implementation, telemedicine, etc.)
- Technical knowledge or experience working with software development teams
- Any other relevant experience (sales, finance/accounting, design, etc.)

San Francisco Bay Area or remote. We are temporarily located in San Rafael, but are looking for candidates from the greater San Francisco Bay Area ahead of moving to San Francisco early next year.
