RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the design and development of our RESTful APIs, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse
Act as a technical mentor to developers & machine learning engineers
Work closely with our product and sales on both prototyping and iterative development
QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
2-5 years of work experience in Javascript, Python with a strong understanding of current tools, best practices, and debugging methodologies
Expertise developing RESTful APIs
Ability to work smoothly with other engineers, product managers, and designers
Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
Familiarity with CI/CD build tools and techniques, including one or more of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CircleCI
Familiarity with one or more of the following database and document store technologies: Postgresql, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Amazon S3
Familiarity with various products in the AWS ecosystem and AWS cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with queueing or message-brokering technologies
GREAT TO HAVE
Experience with functional programming
Experience in financial markets and related services
