The Baby Box Co. is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join the team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling the Company’s education solutions to potential partners, as well as collaborating with the BD team to ensure revenue goals are achieved. The Business Development Manager is tasked with identifying new revenue opportunities and partnerships and will be directly involving in prospecting, cold calling, in-person sales calls, conference attendance, lead generation, and ultimately closing deals.

You will:

Analyze the territory/market potential to identify and prospect for potential new business partners.

Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients and prospects.

Develop and present tailored marketing services solutions to customers.

Achieve sales forecasts by generating new business from existing and new customers.

Create business opportunities through industry relationships and networks.

Collaborate with the Head of BD / CRO in the analysis and development of Baby Box’s proposal process.

Work with the CRO in the development of marketing materials, promotional materials, and industry meeting strategy, as requested.

Work with product and content teams to provide custom-tailored solutions for clients.

Communicate industry events, trends, and new opportunities to management.

Input activities and achievements on assigned accounts, including leads, contacts, opportunities, meetings, etc. into CRM.

You have:

A Bachelors’ Degree and directly relevant experience.

A Minimum of 3-5 years industry-related work experience.

Proven work experience as a business development representative, selling integrated marketing solutions and closing deals.

Experience closing business opportunities based around media inventory, shopper marketing, promotional and other experiential campaigns a plus.

Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.

Ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow through on assignments.

Ability to correlate feedback and trends across multiple partners to provide
insight into unexplored high-yield business opportunities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by positive interactions with coworkers, management, clients and potential clients.

Ability to work independently to accomplish assigned goals.

Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite.

Willingness to travel in and outside of the region.
